How to Create a Segment in TouchBasePro

A straight-to-the-point walkthrough for building subscriber segments in TouchBasePro, so your campaigns reach the people they're actually meant for.

how-to

Segmenting your database is one of the most practical things you can do to improve campaign relevance. Here is how to create a basic segment in TouchBasePro.

Create a segment in 6 steps

  1. Log in to your TouchBasePro account and click Send an email campaign.
  2. Under Add new subscribers, click the hyperlinked text Segments.
  3. Click the green Create a new segment button.
  4. Define the rule for your segment. Rules are based on data already in your database, such as a custom field.
  5. Complete your rule by selecting the relevant options from the drop-down fields. For example, to segment by gender, select the custom field Gender, choose Matches exactly, and type female.
  6. Name your segment and click Save and preview.

That's it. Once saved, your segment is available to select whenever you build a campaign.
