Every platform is only as good as the people building it. Sasa Kozic works on the back-end of TouchBasePro, handling the logic and data operations that users never see but rely on every time they log in.
What is your role?
"I am the back-end software developer at TouchBasePro."
What does your role involve?
"Back-end development means working on the business logic part of our system. Every action a user takes on the site, clicking a button, loading a new page, requires data to be fetched or updated. All of those operations that happen out of sight while someone is using the platform, that is the back-end."
What is your favourite part of the job?
"Working on new features and improving the existing ones. Our goal is to give clients an environment that is easy to understand and easy to use, and to keep improving it as their needs change."
What do you think makes TouchBasePro unique?
"The way the leadership team engages with the rest of the team. Everyone has a real say in the processes they are part of. We are always thinking about how to do things better, faster, and more practically."
What secret talent do you have that no one knows about?
"I have a knack for solving stubborn problems, no matter how long it takes."
