Why was my email campaign sent for Campaign Review?

Email campaigns get sent for Campaign Review for several reasons. When you get a message to say that a Campaign Review is needed on your email campaign, a representative at TouchBasePro receives a notification that there is an email campaign to be verified. He/she will then review the relevant factors of the campaign, and either approves the campaign to be sent out as scheduled, contacts you for further information or rejects the campaign and provides you with a reason. The review does not take long, and, barring anything unforeseen, will be completed within half an hour.

Please note our offices hours are 8am to 5pm (GMT +2), Monday to Friday. You can schedule your campaigns in advance, for any time of the day or night, but we are only able to approve your campaigns during our business hours. If you would like to ensure your campaign is reviewed as soon as possible so it will go out on time, please make sure you save and approve it for delivery during the above times.

Below is a list of the Campaign Review reasons and a short explanation of each

Account Manager review required:
There are three times you may see this message, it will either say New Account, New Monthly Subscription, or New SMS Account. When you register and start sending campaigns with us, we will stop your first few campaigns to validate the type of campaigns you are sending, and if you have purchased email or SMS credits on a credit card, that your credit card details are accurate. Unfortunately, because of the prevalence of spam and fraudulent credit card transactions in today's world of online marketing, we have had to implement this for all new accounts registered. Please bear with us for your first few campaigns, once certain criteria are met your campaigns will no longer be stopped for this reason.

SPAM Filter score for your campaign is high:
When you check your spam score with our integrated Spam Tester, it will give you a score with a breakdown of the factors that add up to that score (it is highly recommended that you don't skip this step, it can be found on the Design & Test stage of creating a campaign). A score of zero is the ideal score to have, while anything under five will probably not be seen as spam. A score over five will probably be seen as spam. A score of over three, though it may not be seen as spam, will be held back for Campaign Review.

The list named 'Example' has not been SPAM verified yet:
When a new list is loaded, it has to be checked over by a TouchBasePro representative before a campaign can be sent to it. This is to ensure that the list that has been loaded is a valid and useable list, and does not look as though the email addresses contained within have not been "scraped" or "harvested" from websites. This reason will apply to both brand new lists, and existing lists that have been recently updated/added to.

We have identified potential problems with the email addresses you have loaded. List score rate: Example:
This reason for Campaign Review looks more in depth at the specific email addresses that are contained in the list/s that the campaign is going to. A list is given a score out of one hundred; again zero to five is the ideal score to have. A representative from TouchBasePro will review the list in detail, and if he/she sees any potential problems, they will be in touch with you to discuss the source of your email list. You may be required to complete a Subscriber List Source Information Questionnaire before your campaign is approved.

SPAM Abuse complaint received:
If you are seeing this reason for Campaign Review, it means that someone has laid a Spam Complaint against one of your email campaigns. Every email campaign you send out from the date of the Spam Complaint for six weeks will be held back and checked thoroughly, so that Spam Complaints do not continue against your account.
